Job Description

Valet Living is a distinguished service company specializing in doorstep trash collection and maintenance services tailored for apartment communities. Renowned for enhancing the safety, cleanliness, and overall living experience, Valet Living operates across various regions ensuring that residents enjoy hygienic and welcoming environments every day. The company prioritizes employee well-being and community satisfaction, cultivating a supportive team culture that values diversity, inclusion, and career growth. Valet Living is an equal opportunity employer committed to hiring based on merit without discrimination of any kind, reflecting the company’s foundational principles of respect and fairness in all levels of employment.

We are currently hiring part-time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialists, known as Service Valets, who will play an essential role in keeping apartment complexes clean, safe, and inviting for residents. This position offers individuals a reliable opportunity to earn steady extra income, perfect for those seeking a second job or supplemental earnings. The role is primarily evening-based, with shifts typically starting after 7:00 or 8:00 PM from Sunday through Thursday, making it easy to balance with daytime commitments such as another job, school, or family responsibilities. Most schedules provide 10 to 15+ hours per week, providing flexibility and consistency.

Service Valets are responsible for collecting bagged trash and cardboard recycling directly from apartment doorsteps and transporting these items to onsite compactors, ensuring that communities remain tidy by morning. The job involves physical activity, including walking extensively, climbing stairs, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. However, it does not require long-distance driving, bulk item collection, or offsite dumping, making it accessible and manageable. The company also supports its employees with a mobile app for streamlined work management, including check-ins, tracking tasks, and photo documentation.

Compensation ranges from $15 per hour for non-truck service valets to $17 per hour for those using an open-bed pickup truck or similar vehicle. The company offers prompt payment through DailyPay and a quick hiring process that allows new hires to start soon after applying. Additional incentives include referral bonuses and opportunities for career advancement within the company, as many Area Leaders began their careers as Service Valets. This role encourages physical activity, fosters a sense of community pride, and offers a dependable income source. It’s an excellent match for individuals who want to stay local, work independently, and contribute positively to their neighborhoods, all while enjoying a consistent evening work schedule and supportive work environment.
