Job Description
Valet Living is a premier service provider specializing in doorstep trash and recycling collection for apartment communities across the United States. The company is dedicated to enhancing the living experience of residents by maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments. Valet Living's services are designed to offer convenience and reliability, helping apartment communities manage trash and recycling efficiently right from resident doorsteps, which contributes positively to the overall community atmosphere. With a strong emphasis on quality service and customer satisfaction, Valet Living has established itself as a leader in the property services industry, continuously expanding and innovating its service offerings to meet evolving needs.
The part-time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialist role, also known as a Service Valet, at Valet Living provides an excellent opportunity for those seeking steady, dependable extra income with a consistent evening work schedule. This position is ideal for individuals looking for a second job or supplemental earnings close to home, offering the unique experience of working outdoors within local apartment communities. In this role, employees are responsible for collecting bagged trash and cardboard recycling from residents’ doorsteps during evening hours, ensuring these materials are removed before morning to maintain community cleanliness. The position involves physical activity such as walking through apartment complexes, climbing stairs, and working outdoors in various weather conditions, making it perfect for energetic individuals who prefer active work over sedentary roles.
Employees use a mobile app for checking in, tracking work progress, and documenting tasks through photos when necessary. This integration of technology simplifies the workflow and allows for efficient communication and documentation. Valet Living offers competitive pay rates starting at $16 per hour for those without trucks and $19 per hour for workers using trucks, reflecting the additional responsibilities and capabilities. Typically, the work schedule consists of 10 to 15-plus hours per week, primarily Sunday through Thursday evenings starting after 7 or 8 PM, allowing employees to maintain a good work-life balance without weekend commitments.
The company focuses on employee safety and comfort, providing gloves, safety vests, and other necessary equipment. Valet Living is committed to fostering a supportive work environment, offering opportunities for career growth with many leadership positions filled by employees promoted from the Service Valet role. Additionally, referral bonuses are available, encouraging team expansion through trusted networks. This role not only provides a meaningful way to contribute to community upkeep but also offers the chance to develop professionally within a respected and inclusive company. Valet Living values diversity and equal opportunity and is committed to providing an environment free from discrimination. Join Valet Living today and become part of a team dedicated to making communities cleaner and more welcoming every evening.
