Job Description
Valet Living is a leading provider of doorstep trash collection and cleaning services dedicated to enhancing the living experience for residents in apartment communities nationwide. As a company focused on maintaining cleanliness, safety, and convenience, Valet Living partners with property management teams to offer reliable, efficient, and professional doorstep trash and recycling collection services. With a commitment to community well-being and environmental responsibility, the company seeks employees who share the same passion for delivering high-quality service that keeps living spaces welcoming and spotless.
This position is for a part-time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialist, known as a Service Valet, who plays a crucial role in sustaining the cleanliness and comfort of apartment communities. The Service Valet is responsible for collecting bagged trash and cardboard recycling directly from residents’ doorsteps during evening shifts, ensuring that waste is removed promptly and neatly to maintain the aesthetic and hygiene of apartment properties. This opportunity is ideal for individuals seeking consistent part-time work, supplemental income, or a second job with a predictable evening schedule in a local area close to home.
As a Service Valet, you will typically work 10 to 15 or more hours per week with shifts scheduled Sunday through Thursday, starting after 7:00 PM or 8:00 PM and no weekend obligations. You will be assigned to service one or more apartment communities within your geographic area, eliminating the need for long-distance driving or excessive travel. This role also suits physically active individuals who are comfortable walking extensively, climbing stairs, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
The compensation for this position is competitive, with a non-truck pay rate of $15 per hour and an increased pay rate of $18 per hour for those using a truck. Employees are paid promptly through DailyPay, providing an efficient and flexible payment process. The job integrates technology via a mobile app that facilitates task tracking, check-ins, and communication, ensuring both simplicity and transparency in daily responsibilities.
Valet Living emphasizes a friendly hiring process with quick onboarding, aiming to get employees started swiftly while supporting a consistent evening work routine. Service Valets appreciate the opportunity to stay active, maintain a flexible schedule compatible with other commitments such as school or full-time employment, and pursue career growth within the company, as many supervisory leaders have advanced from Service Valet roles. Additional incentives like referral bonuses and safety equipment provided (including gloves and safety vests) demonstrate Valet Living’s dedication to employee welfare and teamwork.
By joining Valet Living as a Service Valet, you contribute to creating a cleaner, safer, and more pleasant community environment for thousands of apartment residents. This role not only offers financial benefits but also a chance to be part of a valued team focused on quality service and community enhancement.
