Job Description

Valet Living is a reputable service company specializing in providing doorstep trash collection and valet services tailored to apartment communities. The company is committed to enhancing the living experience for residents by maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments. Valet Living operates with a strong emphasis on reliability, employee safety, and community involvement, making it a trusted partner for property managers across various regions. Employing a dedicated team of Service Valets, the company ensures that waste is handled in a timely and environmentally responsible manner without compromising resident convenience or community aesthetics.

This part-time opportunity as a Doorstep Trash Collection Specialist, or Service Valet, is designed for individuals seeking consistent and reliable extra income with a predictable evening schedule. The role emphasizes a local work environment, eliminating long-distance driving and off-site dumping. Candidates must have access to a vehicle suited for hauling waste—either an open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle capable of towing a utility trailer. Ideal for those balancing other commitments, this position offers steady hours typically scheduled Sunday through Thursday evenings, starting after 7:00 or 8:00 PM, providing a flexible and manageable routine.

In this role, Service Valets visit assigned apartment communities to collect bagged trash and cardboard recycling directly from residents' doorsteps. The collected waste is transported to an on-site dumpster or compactor, ensuring that neighborhoods remain clean and clutter-free by the following morning. Utilizing a mobile app, employees check in, track their duties, and document their work with photographs as needed, enhancing operational efficiency and accountability. This job involves physical activity such as walking, climbing stairs, and working in varying weather conditions, appealing to individuals who prefer an active role over sedentary work.

Compensation is competitive with a pay rate of $20 per hour for those using an open-bed pickup truck and $17 per hour for those using other qualifying vehicle combinations. Benefits include daily pay options through DailyPay, no weekend shifts, and a work schedule that allows individuals to easily fit this job around primary employment, education, or family responsibilities. Furthermore, Valet Living prioritizes a fast hiring process and assigns employees to communities near their homes, reinforcing the value of convenience and local engagement. The company supports career development, offering opportunities for advancement within the organization, which has promoted half of its Area Leaders from the Service Valet ranks.

Valet Living fosters a safe work environment by providing necessary safety gear such as gloves and vests, ensuring that employees are well-equipped to perform their duties safely. Additionally, employees can benefit from referral bonuses, consistent work hours, and a supportive culture that values diversity and inclusivity. This role is an excellent fit for individuals who appreciate steady pay, physical activity, and the chance to make a tangible difference in their communities, all while maintaining a flexible local evening schedule.
