Job Description

Valet Living is a leading service provider specializing in doorstep trash and recycling collection for apartment communities across the United States. Known for its commitment to enhancing the living experience for residents, Valet Living offers a unique and essential service by ensuring that trash and recyclable materials are picked up directly from residents' doorsteps and transported to collection points within their communities. As a company, Valet Living prides itself on fostering a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for apartment residents while providing flexible job opportunities that cater to part-time workers seeking evening shifts. The organization emphasizes inclusivity, diversity, and equal employment opportunities, promoting an environment where all employees can thrive and grow their careers.

We are currently hiring part-time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialists, also known as Service Valets, to service nearby apartment communities in the evening hours. This position focuses on helping maintain cleanliness and safety by collecting bagged trash and cardboard recycling directly from residents' doorsteps and transporting this waste to on-site compactors. No long-distance driving or off-site dumping is involved, making it a convenient local job opportunity. With typical shifts running Sunday through Thursday starting after 7 to 8 PM, employees can expect consistent, steady hours typically amounting to 10-15 hours per week. This role is ideal for individuals looking for supplemental income or a second job during evening hours.

The role requires employees to remain active by walking the property, climbing stairs, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Service Valets use a mobile application to check in, track their work, and document completed tasks with photos when necessary, facilitating efficient communication and job management. Employees are assigned to communities close to their homes to maximize convenience and reduce travel time.

Pay rates vary depending on the assigned responsibilities, with Helper positions earning $21 per hour and Truck positions earning $23 per hour. Valet Living offers benefits such as fast and consistent pay through DailyPay, a fast hiring process, and a supportive work environment that values safety through the provision of gloves, safety vests, and necessary equipment. The company places a strong emphasis on internal career growth, noting that half of their Area Leader roles are filled through promotions from within the team. Referral bonuses are also available, offering additional financial incentives for recommending others who join the company.

Valet Living values its employees and provides a job that balances physical activity with a steady income, making it suitable for those who want to stay active rather than remain seated for extended periods. This job also offers flexibility to accommodate other commitments such as full-time employment, school, or family. With a focus on safety, fairness, and community involvement, Valet Living represents a promising part-time employment opportunity for individuals seeking meaningful work close to home that contributes positively to local apartment living environments.
