Job Description
Valet Living is a renowned provider of innovative amenity services dedicated to enhancing the living experiences of apartment communities across the United States. As a company deeply committed to customer satisfaction, Valet Living focuses on maintaining clean, safe, and comfortable environments for residents by offering services such as doorstep trash collection, package reception, and various community improvements. The firm has built a reputation for reliability, attentiveness, and local engagement, providing meaningful employment opportunities that prioritize community-focused work and consistent schedules.
This job opening is for a Part-time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialist, also known as a Service Valet, that caters specifically to evening hours. This role is ideal for individuals seeking additional income through a steady part-time job that does not require long-distance travel or complex logistics. The position emphasizes working close to home, servicing one or more apartment communities in a nearby local area, which helps reduce commuting stress and maximizes convenience.
The position pays competitively, offering $18 per hour for those who have their own personal open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle with a trailer. For candidates without a truck, there is a non-truck service option that pays $16 per hour. The role generally involves working 10 to 15 or more hours per week during evening shifts, mostly Sunday through Thursday, starting between 7:00 and 8:00 PM. There are no weekend shifts, making it easier to balance this job with other life responsibilities such as a full-time career, schooling, or family obligations.
As a Service Valet, you will be entrusted with an important promise to apartment residents: to collect all bagged trash and cardboard recycling from doorsteps and ensure it is removed by morning. Using your personal pickup truck or vehicle with trailer, you will transport these materials to on-site compactors within the communities you serve. The job requires physical activity including walking throughout the property, climbing stairs, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. You will use a mobile app to check in, track your progress, and upload photos as needed to maintain communication and ensure accountability.
This opportunity not only provides stable, reliable pay with fast processing via DailyPay but also encourages career growth, with half of the company’s Area Leaders being promoted internally. Additional perks include referral bonuses and safety equipment such as gloves and vests. The position is designed to be flexible and is explicitly meant for individuals who prefer an active, straightforward role without complicated dynamics or off-site dumping responsibilities.
Valet Living is an Equal Opportunity Employer devoted to diversity and inclusion. They encourage candidates from all backgrounds to apply and ensure a welcoming working environment free from discrimination based on race, religion, age, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic. This role represents a reliable, rewarding way for people seeking part-time work with honest income and positive community engagement to contribute meaningfully to their local residential areas.
