Job Description

Valet Living is a leading service provider specializing in doorstep trash and recycling collection for apartment communities across the United States. The company has built a reputation for delivering exceptional service that contributes to cleaner, safer, and more comfortable living environments for residents. Valet Living partners with multi-family communities to offer reliable, consistent waste collection services, eliminating the burden of traditional trash disposal for residents and property managers alike. Valet Living emphasizes employee safety, professional growth, and community engagement, making it a respected employer in the property services industry.

We are currently seeking part-time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialists, also known as Service Valets, to serve apartment communities in local areas. This role offers the opportunity to provide essential doorstep trash and recycling collection services during evening hours. This position is ideal for individuals seeking a second job or supplemental income with a focus on consistent scheduling and steady pay. Our Service Valets operate primarily in residential apartment complexes where they collect bagged trash and cardboard recycling from residents' doorsteps, transporting these materials to an on-site compactor. The work involves active physical movement, including walking, climbing stairs, and working outdoors, which makes this an excellent option for those who prefer an active job over a desk-bound role.

The typical schedule involves evening shifts from Sunday through Thursday, usually starting between 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM, without weekend work, totaling approximately 10 to 15 hours weekly. The pay rate is competitive, offering $21 per hour for helper positions and $23 per hour for those operating trucks. Employees benefit from a steady pay schedule, with an option to access their earnings quickly via DailyPay, Valet Living’s payroll system designed to provide fast payment solutions. The role requires the use of a smartphone app to check in, track progress, and document completion with photos, which enables streamlined communication and workflow management.

This role is local in nature, minimizing long-distance driving and eliminating off-site dumping responsibilities, which helps employees maintain a balanced work-life routine. Valet Living also fosters career growth opportunities, noting that 50% of their Area Leader hires are promoted from within, providing clear pathways for advancement. Additional perks include referral bonuses for bringing new team members onboard, and the provision of safety gear such as gloves and vests to ensure a safe working environment.

Overall, this part-time evening position supports individuals who want to stay active, earn extra income, and work close to home in a supportive and efficient organization. Valet Living’s commitment to equality and diversity enhances its inclusive workplace culture, ensuring fair treatment and respect for all employees. We encourage applicants who meet the basic criteria and want to join a company dedicated to service excellence and employee well-being to apply today.
