Job Description
Valet Living is a leading service company dedicated to enhancing the living experience in apartment communities across the United States. Established with a focus on providing exceptional doorstep trash and recycling services, Valet Living has built a strong reputation for reliability, community engagement, and environmental responsibility. The company specializes in delivering convenient and efficient waste collection solutions tailored specifically for multi-family residential properties. Their services not only contribute to maintaining clean and pleasant environments but also promote sustainable practices through responsible recycling efforts. Valet Living emphasizes a positive workplace culture and offers opportunities for career growth, making it a popular employer in the property service industry.
We are currently hiring part-time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialists, also known as Service Valets, to join our team. This role is perfect for individuals seeking steady, evening hours close to home without the need for long-distance driving or off-site dumping. A unique aspect of this position is that it requires your own personal open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle with a trailer, allowing you to service one or more nearby apartment communities efficiently. Your primary responsibility will be to collect bagged trash and cardboard recycling directly from residents' doorsteps, ensuring these materials are removed by morning, thus enhancing the cleanliness and safety of the communities we serve.
This role is ideal for those looking to supplement their income with a second job, offering consistent hours typically between 10 to 15 hours per week in the evenings from Sunday through Thursday. Starting times generally fall between 7:00 and 8:00 PM, which fits well with many personal schedules outside of traditional daytime employment or education commitments. The work involves active engagement, including walking the property, climbing stairs, and carrying items, which helps keep you physically fit. Importantly, this job requires no handling of bulky items or off-site waste disposal, making it straightforward and manageable.
Valet Living provides a competitive hourly rate with truck operators earning $20 per hour and non-truck service valets earning $18 per hour. You will benefit from steady pay, fast payment options through DailyPay, and a quick hiring process, allowing you to start earning without delay. The company equips you with the necessary tools such as a mobile app to check in, track your tasks, and submit photos as needed, streamlining your work and communication. Additionally, Valet Living prioritizes safety by providing gloves, safety vests, and other equipment. This role also offers opportunities for advancement, with many supervisory positions filled through internal promotions, and referral bonuses for recommending others to join the team.
If you have a valid driver's license, insurance, are at least 18 years old, and possess a smartphone with a data plan, you could be a great fit. Ability to work independently and a reliable routine are essential to succeed in this role. Valet Living is committed to inclusiveness and equal opportunity, respecting diversity across all dimensions including race, gender, age, and veteran status. Join Valet Living today to enjoy flexible, local, and rewarding part-time evening work that helps keep communities clean and safe.
