Job Description

Valet Living is a leading service company specializing in doorstep trash collection for apartment communities, dedicated to keeping living environments clean, safe, and comfortable for residents. As an established name in the property services industry, Valet Living offers unique part-time opportunities for individuals seeking flexible, local employment with steady hours. Valet Living operates with a strong commitment to community-focused service, employing respectful and diligent professionals to directly impact the quality of life in apartment complexes. The company emphasizes safety, responsibility, and customer satisfaction, providing essential support to property managers and residents by managing trash and recycling disposal in an efficient, reliable manner.

The role available is for part-time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialists, also known as Service Valets, with the focus on evening shifts close to your home to eliminate long-distance travel. This position is ideal for those interested in earning extra income with consistent hours, such as individuals looking for a second job or supplemental earnings. The job involves servicing one or more nearby apartment communities, collecting bagged trash and cardboard recycling directly from residents' doorsteps and properly disposing of the materials on-site, ensuring the communities remain tidy by morning.

Candidates must have their own personal open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle with a trailer to perform the job efficiently. This requirement is crucial as the collected waste is transported to the on-site compactor. The work schedule mainly covers Sunday to Thursday evenings starting after 7:00-8:00 PM, avoiding weekend work to provide a convenient balance for employees who may have other daytime commitments. Hours range from 10 to 15 or more per week, providing dependable pay at competitive rates ($18 per hour for truck owners, $16 per hour for non-truck service valets).

The position also involves some physical activity, including walking the property, climbing stairs, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Employees use a mobile app to track their work, check in, and take photos when needed, leveraging technology for accountability and operational efficiency. Furthermore, Valet Living offers a fast hiring process with daily pay options through DailyPay, enabling employees to access their earnings quickly.

Overall, this role is geared towards individuals who are self-motivated, able to follow routines independently, and enjoy a job that keeps them active. It also offers potential career advancement; half of current Area Leader positions come from internal promotions, rewarding contributions and long-term commitment. Additional perks include referral bonuses and the provision of safety equipment like gloves and vests, reinforcing a culture of safety and teamwork within the workplace. As an equal opportunity employer, Valet Living values diversity and inclusivity across all aspects of employment, maintaining fair hiring and promotion practices based on merit and qualifications. If you seek a reliable, part-time evening job that provides extra income, flexibility, and the comfort of local work without extensive travel, this opportunity could be the perfect fit.
