Job Description
Valet Living is a leading provider of doorstep trash collection and waste management services for residential communities across the United States. The company specializes in maintaining clean, safe, and pleasant apartment living environments by offering convenient and efficient services that enhance residents' quality of life. Valet Living works with apartment complexes to provide doorstep trash collection, recycling, and related services that eliminate the hassle of traditional waste disposal. Valet Living is committed to employing a diverse workforce and values inclusivity, offering equal employment opportunities regardless of race, religion, gender, or any other protected status.
We are currently seeking part-time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialists, also known as Service Valets, to join our team in evening shifts. This role is ideal for individuals looking for steady part-time work close to home with flexible hours. The position primarily involves servicing nearby apartment communities by collecting bagged trash and cardboard recycling directly from residents' doorsteps using your own personal open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle with a trailer. This role does not require long-distance driving or off-site dumping, making it a convenient and local job opportunity for anyone looking for supplemental income or a second job.
As a Service Valet, your primary responsibility is to ensure that the apartment properties remain clean and comfortable for the residents by efficiently collecting all trash and recycling items during your scheduled evening shifts. You will use a mobile app to track your work, check in at properties, and document your tasks with photos when necessary. The shifts typically run Sunday through Thursday starting after 7:00 or 8:00 PM, allowing you to work consistent evening hours without weekend obligations. This makes the role particularly suitable for people who want to maintain a work-life balance or fit the job around other commitments such as full-time work, school, or family duties.
This part-time position offers competitive pay rates, with $18 per hour for employees using their own truck and $16 per hour for non-truck service roles. Employees enjoy steady and reliable pay, with an added benefit of fast payments through DailyPay, providing quick access to earnings. The job also promotes physical activity by encouraging walking the property, climbing stairs, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Safety equipment such as gloves and safety vests are provided to ensure a secure working environment.
Joining Valet Living as a Service Valet opens the door to potential career growth since many leadership positions are filled through internal promotions. The company also offers referral bonuses as incentives for bringing new team members on board. Working locally eliminates the need for long-distance travel, allowing employees to stay close to home while earning extra income. This opportunity is perfect for those who value flexible, part-time evening work that keeps them active and engaged while providing a steady paycheck and a sense of community impact.
