Job Description

Valet Living is a leading service provider specializing in doorstep trash collection and other essential services aimed at keeping apartment communities clean, safe, and comfortable. Established as a company committed to delivering excellent service to residents, Valet Living focuses on convenient, reliable, and community-focused solutions that contribute positively to residential environments. Valet Living operates widely across various locations and is known for providing employment opportunities that support flexible schedules and steady earnings, particularly in part-time roles. This promotes balance for employees who may have other commitments such as school, full-time jobs, or family care.

We are currently hiring for the position of Part-Time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialist, also known as Service Valet, to join our team. This role is uniquely suited for individuals seeking evening work close to their homes, with no long-distance driving or off-site dumping involved. The position offers an opportunity to work in one or more nearby apartment communities within the same local area, ensuring convenience and familiarity for the employee. This role is ideal for candidates looking for second jobs or supplemental income, with consistent and steady evening hours typically ranging from 10 to 15+ hours per week.

As a Doorstep Trash Collection Specialist, you will play a vital role in community cleanliness and resident satisfaction by collecting bagged trash and cardboard recycling directly from apartment doorsteps and disposing of it in on-site compactors. This service is critical in enhancing the residents’ living experience, maintaining a neat property, and contributing to healthier, more attractive apartment complexes. The job involves walking the property, climbing stairs, and performing physical tasks outdoors, ensuring that you stay active throughout your shift. Moreover, you will utilize a mobile app to streamline your workflow by checking in, tracking progress, and documenting tasks with photos if necessary.

The compensation for this role is competitive, offering $19 per hour for helper positions and $21 per hour for truck drivers. Scheduling aligns with a weekday evening timeframe, typically Sunday through Thursday, starting after 7:00 or 8:00 PM, and importantly, does not include weekend shifts. Valet Living offers a fast hiring process and daily pay opportunities through DailyPay, providing financial flexibility to employees. Being assigned to local communities means you avoid the hassle of traveling long distances, promoting a healthy work-life balance.

Valet Living also prioritizes employee safety and comfort by providing gloves, safety vests, and necessary equipment. The company fosters a culture of growth, with many leadership roles filled internally, and incentives like referral bonuses. Overall, this position is well-suited to individuals who value being active, working independently, and contributing to their local community while earning extra income through part-time evening work. If you are motivated, reliable, and meet the basic equipment and legal requirements, this is a great opportunity to join a supportive team dedicated to improving apartment living environments.
