Job Description
Valet Living is a prominent service company committed to enhancing the living experiences of apartment communities by providing essential doorstep trash and recycling collection services. Operating across multiple regions, Valet Living focuses on environmental cleanliness, safety, and convenience to ensure residents enjoy a comfortable, well-maintained living space. As an industry leader, Valet Living places high value on teamwork, safety, and service quality, fostering a workplace culture that supports growth, inclusion, and consistent community impact. The company is an equal opportunity employer dedicated to diversity and inclusion in its hiring practices, ensuring equal access and opportunity for all applicants regardless of race, gender, age, or other protected characteristics.
We are seeking part-time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialists, also known as Service Valets, to join our team and service apartment communities during evening hours. This role offers a unique opportunity for individuals looking for a steady second job or supplemental income with the flexibility of evening scheduling. The position requires candidates to use their own personal open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle with a trailer to collect and transport bagged trash and cardboard recycling from residents' doorsteps to on-site compactors, eliminating the need for long-distance driving or off-site dumping.
This job promises consistent local work within nearby apartment communities, allowing you to stay close to home and avoid extended travel times. Typically, the shifts occur Sunday through Thursday starting between 7:00 and 8:00 PM, and you can expect to work approximately 10 to 15 or more hours per week. For those seeking work-life balance or something that fits neatly around a full-time job, school, or family commitments, this opportunity provides steady pay at competitive rates ($20 per hour for truck operators and $18 per hour for helpers), alongside benefits such as fast daily pay through DailyPay, and a straightforward, quick hiring process.
Physical activity is a key component of the role as you will be walking properties, climbing stairs, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Your responsibility will be to ensure that trash and recycling are efficiently and safely removed by morning, helping keep communities clean and residents satisfied. Our mobile app supports you in managing your tasks by allowing you to check in, track your work progress, and upload photos for verification.
This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy staying active, working independently, and engaging in a routine that contributes positively to the community. Safety is paramount, and we provide gloves, safety vests, and other necessary equipment to protect you while performing your duties. Valet Living also emphasizes career advancement, with many of our area leaders having been promoted internally, reflecting our commitment to employee growth and success.
In summary, joining Valet Living as a part-time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialist means becoming part of a supportive, community-oriented company where your efforts make a real difference daily. You will have the chance to earn extra income in a flexible, local, and active role, supported by a reliable team and advanced mobile tools. We invite motivated, responsible individuals with a suitable vehicle, valid driver's license, and a positive attitude to apply and start making an impact today.
