Employees use their own personal open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle equipped with a trailer to collect bagged trash and cardboard recycling directly from residents' doorsteps and transport these items to on-site compactors. The work is physically engaging, involving walking across properties, climbing stairs, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.

This job typically involves evening shifts, around 10 to 15 hours per week, usually scheduled Sunday through Thursday starting between 7:00 and 8:00 PM, with no weekend obligations. The pay rate is competitive, with a truck pay rate of $21 per hour and a helper rate of $20 per hour.
