Job Description
Valet Living is a leading service company dedicated to enhancing the living experience in apartment communities across the United States. Specializing in doorstep trash and recycling collection, Valet Living takes pride in offering services that keep residential environments clean, safe, and welcoming. The company emphasizes community well-being by maintaining waste management routines that are convenient and environmentally responsible. Valet Living operates with a focus on respect for residents, professionalism, and reliability, making it a trusted partner for property managers and residents alike.
This opportunity is for a part-time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialist, also known as a Service Valet, who will primarily work in the evening hours servicing one or more apartment communities in their local area. This role is ideal for individuals seeking additional income through steady, consistent evening shifts away from weekend work. It involves minimal travel distances, no long drives, no off-site dumping, and no handling of bulk items, making it convenient and efficient. The employment offered is part-time with typical work hours ranging from 10 to 15+ hours per week with shifts starting Sunday through Thursday after 7:00 PM.
The key responsibility is to collect bagged trash and cardboard recycling from apartment doorsteps each night so that the areas remain neat and clear first thing in the morning. Service Valets use their own personal open-bed pickup trucks or equivalent vehicle with trailers to transport the waste to on-site compactors. This role allows individuals to remain active throughout the shift by walking properties, climbing stairs, and working outdoors regardless of weather.
The position offers a competitive pay rate starting at $18.00 per hour for truck operators and $16.00 per hour for helpers, along with the advantage of fast pay options through DailyPay, allowing employees to receive earnings quickly and regularly. Valet Living assigns workers to serve communities near their residence, emphasizing a convenient and local work experience. The role requires responsibilities such as using a mobile app for check-ins, work tracking, and photo documentation to ensure accurate and efficient service.
Furthermore, Valet Living prioritizes safety by providing gloves, safety vests, and other necessary equipment to all employees. The company promotes career growth, with many leadership roles being filled internally, and incentivizes employee referrals through bonuses. The workplace culture values flexibility to accommodate other commitments like full-time jobs, schooling, or family responsibilities. Valet Living is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity and inclusivity in its hiring, compensation, promotion, and workplace policies across all protected classes under federal, state, and local laws.
In sum, this role is a perfect fit for individuals looking for a physically active, local, part-time evening job with steady hours, reliable pay, and quick payment cycles. Candidates must be independently motivated, responsible, and ready to contribute to the well-being of their community by keeping living spaces clean and comfortable. If you have access to a pickup truck or similar vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and want a supplemental source of income close to home, this job provides an excellent opportunity to join a respected company with a strong community focus and fast hiring process.
