Job Description

Valet Living is a reputable company dedicated to providing comprehensive cleanliness and waste management services specifically tailored for apartment communities. With a strong focus on creating safe, clean, and hospitable living environments, Valet Living emphasizes local service through specialized roles that directly impact the daily life of residents. This veteran-friendly and diversity-conscious employer operates with a commitment to equal opportunity, promoting inclusive work culture across a variety of demographics. Valet Living is well-established in part-time employment options that provide steady work outside of traditional business hours, ensuring flexibility and consistency for employees seeking supplemental income or second jobs.

We are currently hiring part-time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialists, also known as Service Valets, to support nearby apartment communities by efficiently collecting bagged trash and cardboard recycling directly from residents’ doorsteps. This role is ideal for individuals who want to maintain steady evening hours with no weekend commitments, offering consistent, reliable work closer to home. You will use your own open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle equipped with a trailer to perform daily routes within one or more apartment complexes in your local area, eliminating the need for long-distance driving or off-site dumping. This role provides the flexibility to fit secondary work around existing responsibilities like full-time jobs or schooling, while also allowing you to stay physically active and outdoors in your community.

As a Doorstep Trash Collection Specialist, you will engage in vital community service by collecting bagged trash and cardboard recycling bags placed by residents at their doorsteps and transporting them to the on-site compactor. The job requires consistent use of our mobile app to check in, track work progress, and document service with photos as needed. With shifts typically scheduled between 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM from Sunday through Thursday, you can expect to work approximately 10-15+ hours per week without weekend duties. The pay rate starts at $18 per hour, complemented by the option of fast daily pay via DailyPay, supporting quick access to your earnings.

This role demands physical activity such as walking long distances, climbing stairs, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working outdoors regardless of weather conditions. Your own reliable pickup truck or similar vehicle with a trailer is essential to perform the collections and transport tasks effectively. Valet Living not only provides necessary gear including gloves and safety vests but also fosters a safe working environment geared towards protecting employees. An opportunity for career growth is available, with half of the area leadership positions historically filled through internal promotions. Additionally, the company offers referral bonuses as incentives to encourage team expansion.

If you are looking for a reliable part-time evening job that does not require weekend work, offers flexible scheduling, and pays promptly, this position is an excellent fit. Valet Living’s continued commitment to diversity and equal opportunity guarantees a welcoming workplace for all qualified candidates. Apply today to join a community-focused team, serving residents close to home while earning extra income and staying active.
