Job Description
Valet Living is a reputable service company specializing in providing doorstep trash and recycling collection services, primarily for apartment communities. The company prides itself on offering convenient and reliable part-time employment opportunities that allow individuals to work close to their homes while contributing to the cleanliness and comfort of residential environments. Valet Living emphasizes a safe and active work culture, encouraging employees to stay physically engaged without the monotony of desk jobs. This business operates in multiple communities, ensuring that the residents’ living spaces remain clean and inviting by efficiently managing waste collection at the source – the residents’ doorsteps. The company uses a mobile app to streamline communication, check-ins, and reporting, enhancing operational efficiency and ease of work for service personnel.
We're currently hiring part-time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialists, also known as Service Valets, who will primarily work during evening hours to serve one or more nearby apartment communities using their own personal open-bed pickup trucks or vehicles with trailers. This role is ideal for individuals seeking steady, supplemental income through consistent evening work without the hassle of long-distance travel or off-site dumping. The position offers approximately 10 to 15 hours per week, Sunday through Thursday, with no weekend work required, making it a perfect fit for those needing flexible hours that can accommodate full-time jobs, school, or family commitments.
As a Doorstep Trash Collection Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to collect bagged trash and cardboard recycling directly from apartment doorsteps and transport them to the on-site compactors within the same community. This hands-on role ensures that residential buildings maintain a neat and hygienic environment, improving the overall living experience for apartment residents. The job entails active physical work, including walking long distances, climbing stairs, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Safety equipment such as gloves and vests are provided, and the company prioritizes employee safety while on the job.
This position requires candidates to have a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and a smartphone with a data plan to use the company’s mobile app for work check-ins and documenting service activities. Additionally, candidates must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States. The company values workers who can operate independently and follow a consistent routine to maintain the quality and reliability of services.
Valet Living offers competitive pay of $17 per hour with daily pay options through DailyPay, creating fast and steady income streams that are ideal for a second job or to supplement primary income. One of the noteworthy aspects of this role is its local focus, allowing employees to stay within their community and avoid extended travel. The company also provides opportunities for career growth, with many management-level Area Leader positions filled by internal promotions. Referral bonuses are available for employees who bring others into the team, enhancing the community feel within the workforce.
By joining Valet Living as a Service Valet, you become part of a mission-driven company that values diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity. The company ensures fair treatment and promotion without discrimination based on race, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, veteran status, disability, or any other protected status. If you seek a part-time evening job where you can remain active, earn extra income close to home, and work within a supportive and structured environment, this role is an excellent fit. Apply today to start a fulfilling and flexible position that fosters both physical activity and community service.
