Job Description
Valet Living is a leading provider of doorstep trash and recycling collection services, primarily serving apartment communities across the United States. The company is renowned for its commitment to enhancing the living experience of residents by maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments. Valet Living leverages technology and a dedicated workforce to ensure curbside collected waste is efficiently removed every service night, contributing to the overall appeal and hygiene of residential communities. This company focuses on creating sustainable, local employment opportunities that offer reliable income and flexible schedules.
Currently, Valet Living is seeking part-time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialists, known as Service Valets, to join their teams. This role is not only ideal for individuals looking for supplemental income or a second job but also suits those who prefer consistent evening work close to home without the hassle of long-distance driving or off-site dumping. Service Valets utilize their own vehicles—either an open-bed pickup truck or a tow-capable vehicle with a trailer—to service one or more local apartment communities by collecting bagged trash and cardboard recycling from residents’ doorsteps. The position offers an hourly rate of $20 and usually involves shifts during the evening hours, typically from Sunday to Thursday, providing about 10 to 15 or more hours per week. The pay structure includes fast payment options via DailyPay, making it convenient for those who require timely compensation.
The role requires physical activity such as walking through apartment complexes, climbing stairs, and consistently managing outdoor work in various weather conditions. It also demands a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to work independently while following a routine. Service Valets use a mobile app provided by Valet Living to check in, track their work, and take photos when necessary, ensuring seamless communication and accountability throughout their shift.
Valet Living emphasizes safety and provides all necessary equipment such as gloves and safety vests, prioritizing the well-being of its workforce. The company also encourages career growth from within, as highlighted by their promotion record where many Area Leaders originated as Service Valets. Additional perks include referral bonuses and the opportunity to contribute positively to the community’s living environment. The company fosters an inclusive work culture and is an Equal Opportunity Employer, dedicated to diversity and equitable employment practices.
For individuals seeking a steady, local job that offers a blend of physical activity, dependable hours, and competitive pay, the Service Valet position at Valet Living represents a trustworthy and rewarding opportunity. This role is particularly attractive to those who own or can provide the required vehicles and trailers and wish to balance work alongside other personal commitments without the burdens commonly associated with traditional waste collection jobs.
