Job Description
Valet Living is a prominent service company dedicated to providing exceptional doorstep trash and recycling collection services to apartment communities across the United States. Recognized for their commitment to maintaining clean, safe, and comfortable living environments, Valet Living specializes in offering tailored waste management solutions that emphasize convenience and customer satisfaction. This company has built its reputation by focusing on community-based service delivery, ensuring that residents enjoy a pristine living space without the hassle of managing their own waste disposal. With a culture centered around respect, reliability, and inclusivity, Valet Living is known to foster an encouraging work atmosphere for its employees, supporting diversity and promoting equal opportunity at all levels of the organization. This role is a part-time position ideally suited for individuals seeking supplementary income, working evening hours typically from Sunday to Thursday, starting between 7:00 to 8:00 PM. The pay rate for this part-time role is $17 per hour, providing steady and reliable earnings for those looking to augment their income in a flexible manner close to home.
The position of Doorstep Trash Collection Specialist, also referred to as Service Valet, offers a unique and rewarding opportunity to directly impact apartment communities by enhancing cleanliness and safety. This role involves collecting bagged trash and cardboard recycling from the doorsteps of residents and responsibly transporting the waste to on-site compactors using a personal open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle equipped with a trailer. Unlike traditional recycling or waste collection jobs that often require off-site dumping and long-distance driving, this role is localized and designed to serve one or more nearby apartment communities, emphasizing efficiency and proximity. The work is predominantly outdoors and active—collecting trash, walking the property, climbing stairs, and moving shipments of waste are central to the job. Workers will utilize a mobile app to track their progress, check in, and document their work through photographs, allowing for seamless communication and accountability. The position is highly flexible, making it an excellent fit for individuals who need steady evening hours without weekend commitments. Moreover, the role supports career growth opportunities since many area leader roles are filled through internal promotion. Additionally, employees benefit from a fast and straightforward hiring process, daily pay options through DailyPay, and referral bonuses, creating a motivating and supportive employment environment. The job demands physical capabilities such as lifting up to 50 pounds, endurance for walking and climbing stairs, and willingness to work in various weather conditions, making it ideal for those who prefer active jobs over sedentary office environments. Overall, this position represents a practical and attainable employment opportunity for responsible, independent workers seeking a stable part-time job that stays local, offers great benefits, and contributes positively to their community.
