Job Description

Valet Living is a pioneering service company dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for apartment residents by providing exceptional doorstep trash and recycling collection services. As a recognized leader in the property services industry, Valet Living partners with apartment communities across the United States to create cleaner, safer, and more welcoming living environments. Their innovative residential service programs focus on delivering convenience and enhancing community cleanliness through reliable, consistent trash and recycling collection that residents can depend on. Valet Living emphasizes a deep commitment to customer satisfaction, employee development, and operational excellence, making it the employer of choice for individuals seeking flexible, meaningful work in their local areas. This company cultivates a culture of inclusivity and equal opportunity, valuing the diversity of its workforce by recruiting, employing, training, and promoting without discrimination based on race, religion, or other protected characteristics.

The role available is for a part-time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialist, also known as a Service Valet. This position is designed for individuals seeking reliable extra income, a secondary job, or supplemental earnings through consistent daytime work close to home. Unlike many jobs in waste collection, this position strictly involves local work at apartment communities with no long-distance driving or off-site dumping requirements. Service Valets play an integral role in maintaining the cleanliness and appeal of apartment complexes by collecting bagged trash and cardboard recycling directly from residents’ doorsteps. Utilizing either an open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle combined with an open utility trailer, specialists transport waste materials to on-site compactors, facilitating smooth and efficient waste management.

This job offers a steady and reliable schedule, typically ranging from 10 to 15-plus hours per week, primarily between Sunday and Thursday, beginning after 9:00 AM. Service Valets enjoy working outdoors and staying physically active by walking through apartment complexes, climbing stairs, and engaging with the community environment. Essential technology skills are also part of the role, as workers use a mobile app for daily check-ins, progress tracking, and submitting photographic proof when required, making the job modern and tech-friendly.

Compensation for this role is competitive, with a truck pay rate of $20.50 per hour and the added benefit of fast payment options such as DailyPay. The role is particularly attractive to those who want to maintain a daytime schedule without weekend work, enabling a harmonious balance with family commitments, school, or other full-time jobs. Valet Living fosters career growth by promoting from within, with many Area Leaders advancing directly from Service Valet roles. Additional perks include referral bonuses, company-provided safety equipment such as gloves and vests, and the rewarding opportunity to make a tangible difference in local apartment communities.

Valet Living is committed to fast hiring and onboarding processes, encouraging interested candidates to apply quickly and begin earning dependable income soon. This position requires candidates to be at least 18 years old, possess a valid driver's license and auto insurance, and be authorized to work in the U.S. Physical fitness is important due to lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, walking long distances, climbing stairs, and working in varying weather conditions. Overall, this part-time role is ideal for motivated individuals who want to earn money through active, local, and purposeful work.
