Job Description
Valet Living is a leading service provider in the residential property management sector, specializing in enhancing apartment community living experiences through exceptional doorstep trash collection services. As a company deeply committed to environmental responsibility and customer satisfaction, Valet Living operates primarily within apartment complexes, ensuring these communities remain clean, safe, and comfortable for their residents. Valet Living offers flexible, part-time employment opportunities, focusing on local area services that eliminate long-distance travel and provide stable, consistent evening hours. The company values employee well-being, offers competitive pay rates, and promotes a culture of inclusion, diversity, and equal opportunity employment.
The role of the Doorstep Trash Collection Specialist, also known as a Service Valet, is pivotal in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of apartment communities. This part-time position, typically ranging from 10 to 15+ hours per week during evening shifts, involves collecting bagged trash and cardboard recycling from residents' doorsteps and transporting these materials to on-site compactors. The role is specifically designed to serve one or more nearby apartment communities within the same local area, thereby reducing commute times and ensuring work remains local to the employee’s home. Valet Living provides a straightforward and efficient work process that includes using a mobile app for checking in, work tracking, and photo documentation. This technology-driven approach helps streamline duties and enhances communication and accountability.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking a second job, supplemental income, or flexible evening work that fits around existing daytime commitments such as a full-time job, schooling, or family obligations. The role is well-suited for those who enjoy staying active, as it requires walking the property, climbing stairs, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. It emphasizes physical activity over sedentary desk work, promoting health and wellness through movement. Valet Living provides competitive pay rates, with Helper positions starting at $16 per hour and Truck roles at $18 per hour, alongside fast payment options available through DailyPay for those who require quicker access to their earnings.
Beyond the financial incentives, this job encourages career growth with a significant percentage of leadership roles filled through internal promotions, illustrating the company’s commitment to employee development. Additionally, safety is a top priority, with necessary gloves, safety vests, and equipment provided to all employees. For individuals passionate about working in a supportive, diverse, and engaging environment while making a tangible difference in local communities, this part-time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialist role presents a truly rewarding opportunity.
