Job Description

Loomis is a leading company in the security and cash handling industry with a robust network of nearly 200 branches across the United States. The company specializes in armored transportation, cash management centers, and cash inventory vaults, ensuring the seamless flow of cash for financial institutions and retail businesses nationwide. Known for its commitment to employee development, Loomis offers numerous opportunities for career advancement and job satisfaction. Many of their top managers, vice presidents, and executives have risen through the ranks, beginning their careers as driver/guards or tellers at branch locations. This culture of growth and internal promotion reflects Loomis's dedication to nurturing talent and rewarding hard work and dedication.

The position offered is a vital role within the branch security and operations team. It is a full-time role paying $16.50 an hour with a work schedule from Monday to Wednesday, 5:00 am to 1:30 pm. The primary responsibility includes maintaining the security of the branch by controlling access to buildings and grounds according to the branch policy. The role also focuses on delivering excellent customer service through handling incoming customer calls about various issues such as routing specials on demand, service requests, no pick-ups, and resolving customer issues efficiently.

The job requires meticulous coordination with route operations, including generating Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) reports to operations, logging detailed calls into the dispatcher's log system, and managing various route requests, holiday routes, and safety/security alerts. The dispatcher is also responsible for maintaining critical branch reports daily, such as the ATM combos list and supporting messengers with ATM force balances and related issues. This role demands excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle special projects as assigned by management.

The work environment is climate-controlled and office-based, requiring extended periods at a desk, managing phone communications, computer operations, and monitoring vehicle radio transmissions. Loomis provides a supportive work environment with a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid time off, health, dental, vision insurance, and retirement plans. This role is ideal for individuals seeking a stable, challenging, and rewarding position in a company that values teamwork, safety, and professional development. Loomis is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to creating a diverse workplace free of discrimination and drug use, ensuring a respectful and inclusive culture for all employees.
