Additional duties include assembling, maintaining, and breaking down dish machines, cleaning shared workspaces such as refrigerators and cooking equipment, and supporting basic food preparation tasks upon request.

  • Current CA Food Handlers Card required
  • Meets all applicable licensing and background requirements to work in a licensed RCFE
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work weekends, plus two additional shifts during the week (4 per week total)
  • Ability to work 3pm - 8pm

Job Duties

  • Follow standard procedures and best practices to ensure the meticulous cleanliness of the kitchen, including all equipment and utensils, and dining glasses, plates and utensils
  • Follow standard procedures and best practices to maintain regulatory compliance with all applicable agencies on all matters related to food service and safety
  • Knowledgeable of trash, compost, recycling program
  • Assembling, maintaining and breaking down the dish machine
  • Washing shared work areas, refrigerators, cooking equipment, walls and floors
  • Assist with basic food prep, as requested
