The Dishwasher role at ISL is an essential position within our food services team. The individual in this role operates dish-washing machines to properly clean and sanitize all dishes, silverware, glasses, utensils, and cooking equipment, ensuring that all items meet sanitary and safety standards. Beyond washing duties, the Dishwasher maintains a clean, clutter-free, and safe environment in food service areas by sweeping, mopping, pressure washing floors, and cleaning dish machines as needed. The role includes cleaning production equipment and following daily and weekly cleaning schedules to meet the community’s high standards for appearance, cleanliness, hygiene, and health.

The Dishwasher must also practice all safety and loss prevention procedures diligently and assist in receiving food and non-food supplies. This job requires the ability to handle multiple priorities and work flexible hours as needed. While a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred along with one year of prior experience, this role is ideal for individuals who are motivated to contribute directly to the quality of life of senior residents.
