Key responsibilities include managing staff schedules, ensuring compliance with sanitation and safety regulations, and handling meal billing and record keeping. Additionally, the supervisor must maintain a close rapport with residents, responding to feedback and working alongside chefs and kitchen staff to optimize dining quality.
Avery Heights requires from this role a steadfast dedication to service, leadership in training and guiding dining staff, and an ability to operate within budgetary constraints while maintaining high standards. The ability to manage special catered events and execute them flawlessly is also essential. This role demands physical stamina and sensory acuity to handle the job's demands effectively, including lifting, coordinating, and sustained concentration under pressure.
With a clear emphasis on respect for residents and compliance with policies that prevent conflicts of interest, Avery Heights promotes an ethical and cooperative workplace. The successful candidate will demonstrate emotional stability, attention to detail, and a commitment to nurturing both resident satisfaction and staff competencies.
