Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older (21+ for alcohol delivery)
- Valid driver's license or eligibility to use bike/scooter
- Own a smartphone with internet access
- Provide a social security number (in the US)
- Have consistent access to a vehicle or transportation means
- Complete a quick sign-up and background check
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old (21+ for alcohol delivery)
- Possess a valid driver's license or use an eligible bike or scooter in select cities
- Have reliable access to a smartphone
- Ability to navigate and use a mobile app for order management
- Good communication skills for customer interactions
- Basic knowledge of local geography for efficient deliveries
- Capable of lifting bags and handling orders carefully
Job Duties
- Shop for groceries and other retail products accurately based on customer orders
- Deliver ordered items promptly to customers ensuring quality and condition
- Manage order pickups using the DoorDash Dasher app efficiently
- Use the prepaid Red Card to pay for shopping orders when applicable
- Communicate with customers through the app to confirm details or resolve issues
- Maintain a safe driving record while making deliveries
- Handle multiple order pickups and deliveries to maximize earnings
