Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Strong computer proficiency including typing and multi-system navigation
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Customer-focused mindset with prior customer-facing experience
- Fluent proficiency in English
- Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply

Job Duties
- Provide world class customer service by managing the rental and occasionally return process in compliance with Hertz's policies and procedures
- Welcome each customer with a smile
- Proudly represent Hertz with professional appearance, language, and behavior
- Focus on providing a clean and safe vehicle to every customer every time
- Take ownership of each customer's service experience by immediately owning and resolving issues
- Play an active role in teamwork and collaboration ensuring understanding of role contribution
- Utilize company approved sales and service techniques when determining customer wants and needs
- Offer optional products to meet customer wants and needs
- Prepare all rental and return documents accurately and completely
- Qualify each customer using company rental requirement guidelines
- Provide assistance with directions, maps, local area information, and appropriate service information
- Review rental parameters, charges, and return details with customers to ensure full understanding
- Answer phones to assist customers in a friendly, helpful, and prompt manner
- Effectively resolve all customer service issues
- Assist and coordinate customers within the queue to minimize wait time and promote efficient service
