Job Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of cooking experience including short order and quantity cooking
  • Must possess Serv-Safe certification or be willing to obtain upon hire
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Effective communication skills
  • Dependable and punctual
  • Willingness to learn new cooking and food presentation techniques

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Ensure efficient, timely, and friendly service to residents and staff
  • Maintain proper sanitation and safety procedures during food preparation and presentation
  • Order, receive, and rotate stock in coordination with the Food Service Director
  • Follow recipes precisely to ensure food consistency
  • Prepare and serve food items for breakfast, lunch, or dinner as assigned
  • Assist in meeting or exceeding resident dining expectations
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor
