Job Requirements

Know local health and safety codes and regulations that apply to the hotel
Ensure the kitchen remains well-stocked at all times
Receive food and beverage orders as needed
Follow provided brand and IHM recipes when cooking food to serve guests
Prepare and plate all food items on the menu
Use hot food preparation machines such as ovens, stoves, and microwaves to cook or heat food
Clean and sanitize tables, countertops, and floors after each service
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
Flexible scheduling availability

Job Qualifications

Ability to follow brand and IHM standard operating procedures to prepare food and beverage items
Highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement
Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary
Ability to work well in stressful situations
Basic knowledge of how to operate all food and beverage equipment
