Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food preparation, preferably in senior living
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in senior living preferred
  • Experience with production methods, portion control, and food handling safety
  • Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to work weekends

Job Duties

  • Prepare hot and cold menu items on the grill, sauté station, salad bar, and service line
  • Ensure proper preparation, portioning, and serving of foods according to menu cycle and standardized recipes
  • Taste and prepare food to determine quality and palatability
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and safety standards
  • Monitor inventory and communicate supply needs
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely food service
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations
