The community is committed to nurturing a supportive and vibrant living space where residents can enjoy a high quality of life alongside compassionate care tailored to their unique needs. As part of Monarch Communities and Brandywine Senior Living, Brandywine Serenade upholds a strong tradition of excellence and innovation in senior care, striving to transform healthcare infrastructure. Their mission is not only to help people age well but to ensure they live well and thrive in every stage of their life.
The Concierge role at Brandywine Serenade plays a vital part in delivering exceptional service and support to both residents and visitors. Acting as the community's welcoming face, the Concierge is responsible for making a positive and professional first impression. This part-time position offers a unique opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a senior living environment that values compassion, respect, and teamwork. The role involves managing inquiries, assisting with clerical support across various departments, and supporting sales and marketing efforts through effective communication and community engagement.
Reporting directly to the Business Operations Director, the Concierge serves as a key point of contact by answering and screening all incoming calls, handling mail for the community, and maintaining logs including emergency contact information and resident emergency face sheets. The Concierge also monitors security alarms, the resident emergency call system, and front door security to ensure the safety and well-being of residents at all times. This non-exempt, hourly position is scheduled primarily during weekend and evening hours, including Sundays from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Mondays from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and every other Saturday from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
The hourly pay range for this role is between $19.00 and $22.00, reflecting the importance of the position within the daily operations of Brandywine Serenade. The ideal Concierge candidate should demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, and have experience working with senior populations. In addition to performing essential administrative tasks, the Concierge participates in training programs and ensures compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations alongside community policies.
Brandywine Serenade offers an inclusive and supportive work culture that recognizes the value of every team member. The community is dedicated to providing ongoing developmental opportunities and promotes an environment where employees can contribute to the well-being and happiness of the residents they serve. Working as a Concierge at Brandywine Serenade means becoming part of a team that prioritizes a progressive yet approachable approach to senior living, fostering a true sense of community and belonging for both staff and residents.
