As a part-time Communications and Events Specialist based on-site in Amarillo, TX, you will be a vital member of the Global Strategic Communications team, working directly under the Communications Manager of Military Business. This role is uniquely positioned at the intersection of communications, event planning, and community engagement, offering an exciting opportunity to support and enhance Bell's strategic objectives at the Amarillo facility. You will be responsible for the planning and execution of a wide array of visits, events, and community initiatives, ranging from small gatherings to large-scale ceremonies. Your efforts will ensure these activities align seamlessly with Bell’s brand identity and core values, strengthening relationships across stakeholders and community partners. This role demands a high degree of organizational skill, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple departments and community organizations. Additionally, you will support Bell’s experiential marketing and leadership development initiatives, helping to elevate the customer experience and engagement. Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, business or related field
  • minimum 2 years planning and operations experience in event planning or communications
  • flexible schedule based on business needs
  • ability to maintain positive relationships with community organizations and external partners
  • professional representation in community interactions
  • effective oral and written communication
  • motivated, detail-oriented and self-directed
  • demonstrated project management skills
  • ability to assimilate and analyze information from various sources

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • support Bell’s experiential marketing team and Amarillo site leadership to plan ceremonial, community, government and stakeholder visits
  • oversee event logistics including planning, budgets, timelines, venue setup, catering, transportation, and security
  • coordinate community outreach initiatives such as corporate giving programs, volunteer activities, and partnerships
  • prepare briefing materials, presentations, and promotional content
  • work with communications teams to ensure consistent messaging and drive business objectives
  • serve as a brand ambassador supporting brand and content teams with asset management and vendor coordination
  • support leadership development to enhance customer experience and engagements
