Job Description

Right At School is a trusted childcare and extended-day enrichment program provider that has been dedicated to nurturing the minds and well-being of children for over a decade. Serving more than 35,000 students in 17 states across the United States, Right At School offers after school, before school, and break camp programs designed to provide a safe, engaging, and joyful environment for children to learn, play, and grow. The company's mission is to inspire a love of learning, support schools, and give parents peace of mind by delivering high-quality programs that blend seamlessly into school cultures and communities. By focusing on enriching children’s experiences outside of regular school hours, Right At School plays a vital role in the lives of thousands of families who seek dependable childcare enriched with educational content.

The Program Manager role at Right At School is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about child development and education leadership. This position offers a competitive pay range from $22.50 to $24.50 per hour, dependent on candidates' education and experience. The role operates Monday through Friday with mandatory availability for all five days during the after-school hours of 2:40 pm to 6:00 pm. As a Program Manager, candidates will be responsible for delivering a curriculum that promotes disguised learning—an innovative program designed to blend educational content with play-based enrichment. The successful candidate will lead a team of educators committed to creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children.

Working closely with school principals and staff, the Program Manager ensures that after-school programming complements the academic objectives of each school while fostering positive community relationships through events like Back to School nights and Field Days. Safety and compliance are critical elements of this role, requiring meticulous supervision, adherence to program paperwork, and enforcement of safety standards to ensure children are protected at all times. The role offers significant growth opportunities, including access to an expansive online training library with over 600 courses covering leadership, child development, and after-school programming, as well as professional development certificates and continuing education credits. This position is not just a job but a pathway to a fulfilling career focused on making a meaningful impact in children’s lives.
