The Program Manager role at Right At School is vital to fulfilling this mission. This position operates Monday through Friday, from 2:45 pm to 6 pm, providing leadership and oversight for after-school programs. The hourly pay ranges from $20 to $24, dependent on the candidate's education and experience. The Program Manager serves as a role model who is responsible for ensuring safety and joy within program activities, supporting operational efficiency by maintaining compliance with licensing standards and documentation practices. This leader fosters a positive and respectful environment among staff members ensuring adherence to attendance protocols, behavior policies, and safety procedures. Coaching and mentoring are important aspects of this role as the Program Manager helps the team navigate challenges, maintain cohesion, and uphold productivity.

They respond promptly to inquiries and collaborate closely with the Area Manager to meet program goals and implement improvements. Accurate record-keeping, including student check-ins and check-outs, is essential to fulfill compliance requirements and maintain a safe environment. The role also involves planning and implementing daily curriculum activities and fitness sessions, all geared toward creating a fun and secure experience for the children served. Job Requirements
- Be 21 years old or older
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have at least 240 hours of experience as an assistant child care teacher or family childcare provider
- Complete any one of the educational criteria related to early childhood education courses, college credits, registry certificate, degree, or teaching license
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff, families, and children
- Maintain and update operational documents and comply with licensing standards
- Commit to scheduled working hours from 2:45 pm to 6 pm Monday to Friday
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 240 hours of experience as an assistant child care teacher in a group childcare setting or 240 hours as a licensee or provider of a family childcare center
- Completion of either 2 non-credit courses in early childhood education, 2 credit-bearing courses in early childhood education, or 48 credits with at least 3 credits in early childhood education
- Certificate from WI Registry level 12 or higher
- Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education
- License from the WI Department of Public Instruction to act as a Kindergarten, Pre-Kindergarten, or Early Childhood Education teacher
Job Duties
- Exhibit role model qualities ensuring safety and joy standards are met by supporting a clear understanding of roles and responsibilities to team members
- Support operational efficiency by maintaining site documents and licensing standards
- Outline and enforce attendance protocols, behavior policies, and safety procedures
- Provide continual coaching and foster respectful relationships among staff to address challenges promptly
- Support and report on safety protocols to ensure participant well-being
- Engage meaningfully with families, client partners, peers, and children to support effective communication
- Maintain accurate records for student check-ins and check-outs according to company policy
- Implement daily activities, fitness fun, and curriculum providing a safe and engaging environment
