Part-time Child Care Assistant, Before School

Currently, the YMCA of Middle Tennessee is seeking part-time Before School Childcare Assistants to join their School Age Services team. This role focuses on supporting the development and well-being of children at various schools within Montgomery County’s 101st Community including Freedom Elementary, Kenwood Elementary, Ringgold Elementary, and West Creek Elementary. As a School Age Services Site Assistant, you will play a critical role in leading and engaging children aged primarily between 5 and 12 years old in fun, safe, and stimulating activities. The work shift runs Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., providing a structured before-school care environment that supports children’s social, emotional, mental, and physical development. You will be entrusted with creating child-friendly program spaces and maintaining cleanliness while implementing curriculum guidelines aligned with YMCA standards.
