The role of Part-time After School Childcare Assistant within the YMCA of Middle Tennessee’s School Age Programs is integral to the organization's ongoing commitment to youth development. This is a part-time position offering consistent employment throughout the school year, with shifts Monday through Friday from 2 pm to 6 pm. The hourly pay starts at $15 and can increase based on relevant childcare experience. This role is not a summer-only or temporary position but a vital part of the after-school programming team. Childcare Assistants are trusted to actively engage and lead groups of 15 to 20 children, guiding them through structured activities aligned with YMCA’s quality curriculum.
