Job Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- meets training requirements of the state
- completed minimum 75 hours of classroom and supervised practical training including at least 16 hours of supervised practical training and classroom instruction
- at least one year experience as a CNA, hospice aide or home health aide
- valid driver's license with insured vehicle in good working order
- strong verbal and written communication skills
Job Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- meets training requirements of the state
- received a minimum of 75 hours of classroom and supervised practical training with at least 16 hours devoted to supervised practical training and classroom instruction
- must have one year experience as a CNA, hospice aide or home health aide (hospice preferred)
- must be a licensed driver with an insured automobile in good working order and current auto insurance
- the ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing
Job Duties
- Care for census of 5-6 patients
- provides or assists in ADL activities including personal hygiene, grooming, mouth, skin care and nails
- provides assistance in toileting, positioning and transfer activities, frequent turning and positioning of a bed bound resident/patient
- assists with prescribed exercise and ROM activities taught by the Hospice Nurse
- assists with light housekeeping of individual's personal unit or room, including changing of bed linen and patient’s laundry
- feeds and assists with meals
- reports any changes in patient's condition to the Nurse
