This role is based within Lowe's retail operations and focuses on delivering exceptional customer service and efficient delivery functions. The position primarily involves the execution of customer service policies, assisting customers by understanding their needs, and helping them select, carry, or load merchandise. The role demands expertise in managing in-stock merchandise, planning deliveries, building and loading delivery loads, inspecting product conditions, and ensuring on-time delivery adherence. Additionally, it requires strict compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and maintenance of delivery vehicles. The associate will also handle appliance unloading, installation, and testing, maintain clean and safe store environments, and operate various store equipment relevant to their department. Strong communication skills are critical for providing product knowledge, coordinating with customers and truck drivers, and managing reporting and safety documentation.

Candidates must hold a Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with air brake endorsement, possess a valid medical certificate, and be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) screening in line with company policies. Experience with semi-trucks or tractor-trailers and familiarity with in-home delivery or retail customer service are preferred. The position requires physical aptitude for handling merchandise loading and unloading safely and efficiently, along with adherence to shoplifting detection protocols and safety standards. Lowe's offers a competitive hourly pay rate between $25.20 and $27.25, varying according to the candidate's location, experience, education, and other factors.
