The Catering Services Worker at Aramark plays a vital role in supporting the event operations team to ensure the success of various catering orders and events at the assigned location. This position is dynamic and involves a wide range of responsibilities from setting up events according to client and banquet event order requests, to transporting equipment, food, and supplies, as well as serving guests during events. The role requires a strong focus on customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain cleanliness and order during and after events. Given that event work often demands adaptability, the Catering Services Worker must be comfortable with physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking and standing.

This position typically demands working event-based hours, which may vary depending on scheduled events. The worker must ensure compliance with safety policies and be able to complete required training such as Food Handling and Alcohol Service. Job Requirements

  • Ability to lift, bend, push, pull and/or extended walking and standing
  • Must be available to work event-based hours
  • Ability to follow safety policies and procedures
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Ability to complete Food Handling and Alcohol Service training
  • Must adhere to required dress code
  • Physical stamina for event setup and breakdown tasks

Job Qualifications

  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Previous catering experience preferred
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Must follow the required dress code as assigned
  • Must be available to work event-based hours
  • Must be able to complete Food Handling and Alcohol Service training as required

Job Duties

  • Set up catering and event service according to client/customer requests and banquet event order
  • Transport and deliver catering food and beverage with all vital supplies and equipment
  • Set up chairs, tables, buffet lines and other event equipment as requested in banquet event order
  • Replenish food and beverage products during events
  • Maintain appearance and cleanliness of food service areas during events
  • Pick up and clean up food and beverage deliveries after service
  • Break down and clean area after the conclusion of the events and return equipment to accurate storage
  • Provide excellent customer service to all guests
  • Follow safety policies and procedures
