The Clinton Presidential Center is a distinguished cultural and historical venue located in Central Arkansas. It serves as a premier location for a variety of events, offering over 10,000 square feet of exceptional space that can accommodate numerous occasions ranging from corporate meetings to private celebrations. The Center is not only a hub for community engagement but also a place that preserves and showcases the legacy of the 42nd President of the United States, William Jefferson Clinton. It features the Clinton Presidential Library and Museum, houses the Little Rock offices of the Clinton Foundation, and includes the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service. The venue also partners with presidential leadership programs, making it a cornerstone for educational and civic activities in the region. Situated within a scenic 29-acre city park along the Arkansas River, the Center includes amenities such as the Clinton Museum store and the acclaimed 42 bar and table restaurant, enhancing the visitor experience with cultural and culinary offerings.
This position plays a vital role in supporting the catering operations within this prestigious establishment. The successful candidate will assist with booking events and ensure seamless communication between clients and internal teams throughout the event lifecycle. Responsibilities extend to supporting the department in accounts payable tasks, coordinating with accounting staff to maintain accurate financial records. The role also involves assisting with restaurant and catering events, contributing to the smooth execution of service. This opportunity offers an hourly compensation of $16.00 and demands a professional who is capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment, with a keen eye for detail and excellent interpersonal skills. Working morning shifts is a requirement, catering to the operational needs of the Center's events and services. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office programs and possess familiarity with point-of-sale systems such as Aloha, complemented by skills in contract management and filing. Experience in profit and loss accounting is preferred, underscoring the financial aspect of this role. Job Requirements
- You must have a Real ID or a passport to work at the Foundation and access the NARA building
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of professional experience in the field in positions of increasing and varied responsibility
- Proficient with all Microsoft programs, working knowledge of Aloha and other POS systems
- Contract management, filing and systems management skills are required
- P&L accounting experience is preferred
- Must be able to multi-task
- Ability to cope with varied and fast paced activities
- Must be able to work morning shifts
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Must be able to work mornings
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Assist with effective client relations at all levels
- Solicits events via direct telephone calls, site tours and other means as necessary
- Assists in maintaining database of events and other calendar management tools
- Assist with accounts payable and other department accounting tasks
- Assist in the restaurant and catering events
