The Customer Experience Colleague is responsible for greeting customers warmly, assisting them in locating products or departments, and managing membership services, which includes explaining benefits and handling sign-ups. Moreover, this role ensures that the checkout process is seamless by accurately scanning items, handling different payment methods, and applying discounts and promotions correctly.

In addition to customer-facing duties, the role involves maintaining store security by monitoring entry and exit points, checking receipts, and supporting loss prevention efforts. Cash handling forms a vital part of this position, requiring disciplined management of cash drawers, performing regular cash counts, and reporting discrepancies immediately to management. Store maintenance duties also fall under this role, which includes keeping key areas like entrances, exits, and checkout counters clean and organized, assisting with product displays, and reporting any maintenance issues.

Beyond these core tasks, the Customer Experience Colleague is expected to communicate effectively with team members, participate actively in training sessions, and adhere to safety protocols.
