This involves following correct bagging procedures, providing carryout and parcel pickup services, loading merchandise into customer vehicles, and returning shopping carts into the store. To succeed in this role, associates must be at least 16 years old and possess the ability to follow detailed but straightforward instructions while applying common sense to resolve minor issues that may arise during work. The job includes physical demands such as standing, walking, lifting up to 40 pounds regularly, reaching, crouching, and balancing, making physical fitness and stamina important. Associates will also be exposed occasionally to various environmental conditions including wet or humid surroundings and varying temperatures.

Associates are expected to complete new hire orientation and participate in ongoing skill development activities.
