The GIANT Company is currently seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual for a Retail Store Team Member position based at their St Davids, Pennsylvania location on 550 E Lancaster Avenue. This role is integral to the front-end operations of the store, requiring the team member to perform a variety of essential tasks that ensure smooth checkout experiences and well-maintained store presentation. The primary purpose of this position involves scanning and entering numbers on registers accurately, handling cash transactions including making change, and efficiently bagging customer orders. Additionally, the role includes special projects such as restocking returned items, replenishing front-end displays like candy, gift cards, and snacks, as well as assisting in maintaining carts and store cleanliness.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior retail or cashier experience preferred
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Must be able to follow instructions and comply with safety policies
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to handle money accurately
  • Must be able to work a minimum 4-hour shift or longer depending on business needs

Job Duties

  • Review work schedule and prepare for duties at the start of the shift
