Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior retail or cashier experience preferred
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Must be able to follow instructions and comply with safety policies
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to handle money accurately
- Must be able to work a minimum 4-hour shift or longer depending on business needs
Job Qualifications
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be able to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations
- Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements with or without accommodation
- Must be able to use or learn to use job-related equipment and tools
- Must complete the company introductory probationary period
- Must be able to perform all job functions safely
- Must meet company performance standards including regular attendance
- Must agree to wear proper assigned clothes and shoes
- Must have technical training specific to the job
Job Duties
- Review work schedule and prepare for duties at the start of the shift
- Block aisles set up checkout areas and displays as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Tally items take money and make change
- Bag items and put bags into carts when necessary
