Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, and handle items for extended periods
- Capability to lift and move up to 30 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Availability to work part-time hours as scheduled
- Reliable and punctual with strong attendance
- Ability to speak clear and understandable English
- Compliance with company grooming and dress standards
- Ability to perform multiple tasks and adapt to shifting priorities
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One to three months related experience or training preferred
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Proficient in basic mathematical skills including handling money and weights
- Ability to follow detailed written or oral instructions
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
- Willingness to complete required training programs
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work collaboratively in a team environment
Job Duties
- Take excellent care of our customers by satisfying their needs and exceeding expectations
- Prepare, process, package, and stock Fresh Foods products according to standards
- Provide friendly and prompt customer service including answering questions and assisting with product selection
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and displays
- Unload stock and reload salvage products following Fresh Foods receiving and rotation standards
- Communicate effectively with customers and fellow associates regarding promotions, product location, and requests
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies including proper handling of chemicals and equipment
