Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous food and beverage experience preferred or equivalent training
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to push, bend, reach, stoop, kneel or crouch
- Availability to work every other weekend from 6am to 1pm
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
- Ability to work flexible shifts
- Must be able to follow safety and sanitation standards
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of high school education
- Post-high school education preferred
- Minimum of one year in hotel or restaurant serving role
- Previous food and beverage experience preferred or equivalent training
- Team player
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally
- Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members
- Ability to operate available equipment such as cash registers and calculators
- Basic mathematical skills
- Ability to work flexible hours and shifts
Job Duties
- Seats and takes accurate food orders from guests
- Monitor food distribution ensuring meals are delivered correctly and presented nicely
- Check station before, during and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness
- Abide by all State, Federal and Corporate liquor regulations
- Be familiar with menu items, their preparation and service procedures
- Total checks, present to guests and accept payment
- Assist with bussing tables
- Carry food, dishes, trays or silverware from kitchen to serving counters
- Set up attractive food displays and maintain cleanliness to ensure food safety
- Wipe tables or seats with dampened cloths
- Scrape and stack dirty dishes and carry dishes and other tableware to kitchens for cleaning
- Clean up spilled food, drink or broken dishes and remove trash
- Maintain adequate supplies of items such as clean glassware, dishes or trays
- Fill beverage and ice dispensers
- Stock cabinets or serving areas with condiments and refill condiment containers
- Locate and provide items requested by guests
- Wash all dirty dishes in dishwasher
- Clean and polish counters, shelves, walls, furniture or equipment in pantry or breakfast area and mop or vacuum floors
- Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing guest satisfaction
- Practice safe work habits and use required safety equipment
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction
- Perform other duties as requested by management
