This role is for Part-Time Breakfast Servers who will be essential in shaping the guest dining experience at the hotel’s on-site restaurant. The position requires individuals who are personable, quick-thinking, and carry a positive attitude to provide memorable and friendly service. As a breakfast server, you will represent the hotel's brand by welcoming guests with a smile, promptly taking and delivering food and beverage orders, and ensuring guests’ needs are swiftly met. This role demands flexibility, as those employed must be willing to work a 7-day rotating schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays. Job Duties

  • Acknowledge and welcome each guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly greeting (use guest name whenever possible)
  • take food and beverage orders and deliver to the kitchen
  • deliver food, beverages, condiments, and other requested items
  • answer questions regarding the menu
  • maintain knowledge of all menu items and composition
  • ensure that food is prepared correctly and to the guest's satisfaction
  • return incorrect or improperly cooked items to the kitchen
  • collect plates and clear table as guests finish their meal
  • adhere to all applicable Colwen and brand standards for food and beverage service and compliance with state liquor policies
  • clean designated areas in accordance with defined procedures
  • ensure sideboards are adequately stocked
  • set tables to standards, and ensure that all items are clean and in good repair
  • prepare guest checks and collect payment
  • assist with other restaurant tasks such as cleaning the dining area and preparing silverware and condiments
  • perform other related duties as assigned, you may be required to perform a variety or duties in multiple departments during a shift
