Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience working with children and children’s events
- retail or customer service experience
- excellent communication skills including written, verbal and nonverbal
- strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- ability to stand for long periods
- ability to lift heavy boxes and use ladders
- availability to work nights, weekends and early mornings
- ability to interact positively with customers and team members
- commitment to company policies and procedures
- willingness to maintain store cleanliness and safety standards

- experience working with children and children’s events
- prior retail or customer service experience
- excellent communication skills including written, verbal, and nonverbal

- ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- familiarity with safety and compliance standards
Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
- engage clients of all ages to create fun and creative environments
- instruct participants in craft activities and perform face painting
- facilitate party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons
- communicate event details with clients and store staff
- complete administrative tasks including answering emails and making phone calls
- adjust event plans based on client feedback
- create backup plans for events
- ensure client satisfaction
- maintain cleanliness and safety standards before and after events
- assist customers with shopping and product locating
- provide fast and friendly checkout experience
- promote rewards programs and credit card enrollments
- educate customers on feedback surveys
- support omni channel processes like BOPIS and Ship From Store
- participate in truck unloading and stocking
- complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
- perform inventory optimization and ad set duties
- support shrink and safety programs
- follow SOPs and company policies
- interact respectfully with customers and team members
- cross-trained in custom framing selling and production
- participate in daily store cleanliness activities
- perform other duties as assigned
