Job Description

Right At School is a premier provider of before and after-school programs dedicated to supporting schools, inspiring a love of learning among students, and giving families peace of mind. Established as a trusted partner within local school districts, Right At School specializes in delivering extended day programs that combine fun, safety, and educational enrichment. These programs are carefully designed to disguise learning activities as engaging play, helping children develop academically and socially outside the regular school hours. The organization’s mission focuses on building strong community ties by providing a safe, inclusive, and affordable space where children can grow, explore, and learn in a nurturing environment. Right At School's vision aims to make these exceptional programs accessible to as many students and families as possible, ensuring a positive impact on community education and family life.

Right At School is currently hiring a Part-Time Before and After School Site Program Manager for the 2026-2027 school year, starting in August 2026. This position is located within the Weld County School District Re-3J and features a split-shift schedule from 6:00 am to 8:30 am and again from 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with no weekend work required. The role offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $25 to $27.50, based on education level and years of licensed group childcare experience. The schedule allows candidates the opportunity to enjoy summer months off while securing their position well in advance, with optional part-time summer hours and possible substitute or on-call summer camp positions that provide insights into the operation of Right At School.

In this leadership role, the Program Manager will be responsible for coordinating and organizing program materials, documenting attendance and incidents, and delivering a dynamic and engaging curriculum that complements the academic day. They will use their training and development programs to model positive guidance, effective classroom management, and ensure the safety and well-being of children aged up to 13 years. This includes facilitating homework support, fitness activities, and creative play, while building strong relationships with children, parents, staff, and school personnel. The Program Manager will also meet regularly with an Area Manager to discuss professional progress and improve team accountability.

Ideal candidates are those who have a genuine passion for fostering a love of learning and the drive to positively impact their community. They should also meet the educational and experience requirements, such as possessing a four-year degree in education or related fields, or equivalent experience combined with education and training in working with school-age children. The position requires candidates to be at least 21 years old and have supervisory experience, alongside meeting state-specific requirements such as LIVE Scan Fingerprint clearance and CPR/First Aid certification.

Right At School provides a supportive work environment with competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that includes commuter benefits, supplemental insurance options, 401k contributions, free before and after school childcare for employees, and employee discounts on various lifestyle products and services. Ongoing professional development opportunities and pay raise incentives are also part of the benefits, reflecting the company's commitment to employee growth and satisfaction. This role offers flexible working hours aligned with school schedules, making it an ideal fit for those dedicated to contributing to children's education and well-being in a structured, supportive environment.
