Job Description
Marriott International is a globally recognized hospitality company known for its commitment to quality, exceptional guest experiences, and a diverse portfolio of brands. One of its distinctive brands, The Autograph Collection, includes a curated selection of independent luxury hotels that offer unique and memorable stays. These hotels are celebrated for their originality, bold character, and ability to cater to the individual traveler who values personalized experiences over the ordinary. Each property in the Autograph Collection stands out by providing guests with more than just a place to sleep — it is a destination that inspires adventure, creativity, and personal enrichment.
Within this prestigious collection, we are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bartenders to join our team at one of our Autograph Collection properties located in Dearborn, Michigan. This role is part-time with a focus on evening shifts and weekends, making it ideal for those who enjoy dynamic and social work environments. The position offers a competitive pay rate of $13.95 per hour and is classified under non-management roles.
The Bartender position goes beyond the traditional duties associated with mixing drinks. Our bartenders are integral to creating an atmosphere that guests will remember. They are expected to be not only beverage experts who keep current with industry trends, micro-local offerings, and craft new and exciting drink selections but also skilled hosts who enhance the overall guest experience. They play a crucial role in ensuring the bar operates flawlessly with attention to detail in every aspect—from handling transactions accurately to maintaining the highest standards in drink preparation.
In this role, bartenders take ownership of guest service not only at the bar but throughout the hotel, engaging with guests and colleagues to anticipate needs and exceed expectations. Their responsibilities include maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bar, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with all safety and operational policies. Physical stamina and hands-on participation are essential, as the role requires standing, walking, and moving objects that weigh up to 25 pounds, including bending and reaching.
At Marriott International, inclusivity and respect are foundational values. We are committed to creating a safe workplace that is welcoming to all associates, regardless of background, disability, or veteran status. As an equal opportunity employer, we promote a culture where diverse perspectives are celebrated and every team member has the opportunity to thrive. By joining the Autograph Collection, bartenders become part of a global team dedicated to exceptional hospitality and personal growth.
This job offers a unique opportunity for individuals passionate about the art of mixology, who thrive in interactive, guest-facing roles, and who take pride in delivering memorable customer experiences. Whether you are an experienced bartender or looking to advance your career in the hospitality industry, this position provides a vibrant work environment with potential for growth and development within one of the world’s leading hotel companies.
