Job Requirements
- Be of legal age to serve alcohol
- possess state applicable health and/or alcohol compliance card
- ability to pass Responsible Service of Alcohol Test with a score of 90% or better
- basic mathematical skills and an ability to handle money and give correct change
- possess basic reading and computer skills
- possess basic knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits, and familiarity with standard drink recipes
- must have excellent communication and organizational skills
- must be multi-task oriented
- possess knowledge of company’s food and beverage specifications and workplace safety procedures

Job Duties
- Welcome each guest personally using enthusiastic words, tone, and body language at all times
- make guests feel appreciated
- work as a team with all personnel in order to maintain an effective atmosphere and an efficient food and beverage service
- work with others to keep all areas cleaned and stocked to the company’s standards at all times
- mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for patrons of the bar and dining room following standard recipes
- input drink orders into computer immediately, collect money from guests for drinks served and make change
- arrange bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display
- wash and sterilize stemware
- count drinks guests are served and track open bar tabs
- anticipate guests’ needs and follow the half-full rule when offering another drink
- remain alert of guests’ signals and acknowledge signals
- learn guests’ names, occupations, and favorite drinks
- responsibly serve alcohol and remain aware of guests’ state of intoxication
- perform other duties as assigned
