The role of Barista at Northwood Ravin is a unique opportunity to directly enhance the living experience of residents by providing exceptional customer service and crafting delicious beverages that keep them coming back. This position is based at a luxury community where the work schedule is Tuesday through Saturday from 7 AM to 12:30 PM. As a Barista, you become a friendly face that residents recognize and appreciate, contributing to the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the community. Your role involves not just making coffee but also building meaningful connections with the residents by remembering their preferences and introducing new drink options. The Barista position focuses on preparing and serving high-quality coffee and espresso drinks, teas, and other specialty beverages using professional coffee equipment such as espresso machines and grinders. You will curate the beverage menu to highlight featured drinks and ensure every order meets the highest standards. Maintaining a clean, organized workspace and monitoring inventory for coffee, milk, syrups, and supplies are essential to keep the operation running smoothly. This role requires attentiveness to detail and the capacity to handle resident concerns gracefully, ensuring satisfaction with every visit.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in hospitality or coffee service preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to operate coffee equipment
- Willingness to work Tuesday through Saturday mornings
- Positive attitude and team player mindset

Job Duties
- Greet and engage residents in a friendly and professional manner
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas and other specialty drinks
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment to ensure quality drinks
- Curate menu to showcase featured beverages
- Ensure that residents are satisfied with their orders and address any concerns
- Keep the barista station clean and organized, including equipment and countertops
- Monitor inventory and manage stock levels of coffee, milk, syrups and supplies
